Harmar Spire Home Elevator
Stay connected to the lifestyle you love. The Spire Home Elevator by Harmar is a compact through-floor home elevator that fits into the home you already have, with no shaft and no pit to build.

Make Your Home Truly Yours with a Spire Home Elevator
The Spire Home Elevator by Harmar connects two floors of your home through an opening in the floor. It rides two rails beside a wall and needs no shaft or pit. The motor sits at the upstairs ceiling, out of the way. When the cabin is downstairs, a trapdoor closes the opening and your upstairs floor looks complete.
Choose the cabin that fits how you live: the Compact for one rider plus a laundry basket or suitcase, the Twin for one or two riders, or the Large for a wheelchair, powerchair or a rider with a caregiver. Every cabin carries up to 500 lb and comes in three heights to suit your ceilings.
Make it match your home. The standard cabin is light grey with grey anti-slip flooring. Options include custom RAL colors, oak or marble effect flooring, color-changing LED mood lighting, a tip-up seat, a power door operator and a 7 in color display.

Spire Home Elevator F.A.Q.
A traditional home elevator usually needs a hoistway and often a pit. The Spire Home Elevator needs neither. It rides two rails beside a wall and passes through an opening in the floor. The motor sits at the upstairs ceiling, and a trapdoor closes the opening when the cabin is downstairs.
Three cabins: the Compact for one rider plus an item such as a laundry basket or suitcase, the Twin for one or two riders, and the Large for a wheelchair, powerchair or smaller scooter, or a rider with a caregiver. Each comes in short, standard and tall heights.
Every cabin is rated for 500 lb. The optional tip-up seat is rated for 265 lb.
Yes. The Large cabin is made for wheelchairs, powerchairs and smaller scooters. Its inside measures 33 7/16 x 49 3/16 in. Mobility123 confirms the fit for your chair during the consultation.
No. The cabin stands on the lower floor and travels through an opening cut in the upper floor. There is no shaft and no pit to build.
Constant pressure controls, sensors in the trapdoor and in the tray under the cabin that stop the lift when they meet an obstruction, an overspeed brake, a slack rope device, a door interlock, battery lowering during a power outage and a standard emergency telephone.
The emergency battery lowers the cabin. It allows one trip down for up to one hour after the power fails.
It serves two stops, up to 164 3/4 in of travel as standard. Extended travel up to 15 ft 9 in is an option.
A dedicated 115 V circuit on a 20 A breaker, hard-wired with a fused lockable disconnect. Mobility123 confirms the electrical details for your home.
No outdoor version is offered. It operates from 50°F to 104°F, so plan it for a heated and cooled space inside the home.
